Twin Oaks State Wildlife Management Area

Twin Oaks WMA is a 5,847-acre tract in Sharkey County near Rolling Fork, about 40 miles north of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Hunting deer, turkeys, waterfowl and squirrels are popular activities. The area provides habitats for various species of wintering waterfowl. Shallow areas are used by puddle ducks and deeper water by diving ducks. Mallards are the primary species; however, northern shoveler, blue-winged teal, green-winged teal, gadwall, Northern pintail, wood duck, American wigeon and others are present.
